Soil characteristics :
Clay and rounded pebbles.
Vinification :
Hand-picked, sorted in the vineyard and then in the cellar.
Whole bunch pneumatic pressing. Cold settling overnight at 10°C.
Harvesting began on 21 August for the Viogniers, 28 August for the Grenache Blancs, 6 September for the Clairettes and 19 September for the Bourboulencs.
Ageing :
In stainless steel vats for 4 months.
Tasting notes :
This wine has a clear, brilliant colour with limpid tints.
The nose reveals notes of citrus fruit, Granny Smith apples and white flowers.
The palate is both round and fresh. Gourmet aromas of yellow lemon, grapefruit and white peach are combined with notes of lime blossom and iodine. The finish is salivating and persistent.
This elegant white wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or throughout a meal.
